2020 Democrat contenders

The big question is, who will be the Republican contenders... I will be supprised if Rump does not get a serious fight for the nomination.

IDk what it is about American politics, but both parties like to shoot themselves in the foot, and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

If the dem party was smart they would nominate a moderate conservative like Jim Webb. That is someone I'd vote for over Trump. But would they ever do something smart? No.

So...clarify for us...you believe trump is qualified to run the country? Because if you do, we're pretty much done here. Hard working class families joined the 32% of racists in this country and voted for the guy who promised them jobs, and 'much better coverage at a fraction of the cost'.

I'm sure they have buyer's remorse.

So let's get back to the discussion of who can win an election, in an atmosphere that ignores qualifications to lead.

McCaulife is too much a party insider. Hickenlooper has solid credentials and has the gravitas but isn’t well known nationally, Jerry Brown? He has the age problem too. Corey Booker? Does anyone want another DLC moderate?

Not exactly anyone inspiring in the whole lot.

I think the democrat party will want to cover all of its bases this time around. Therefore they will nominate a female, half black, half mexican, transgendered midget who self identifies as a dude 225 days out of the year and is bisexual.
