Trump was bankrupted about 6 times. He was famous for cheating banks and contractors. That is not a good starting point for getting a huge loan. Trump's reputation preceded him. The American banks cut Trump loose years earlier. That is why he got financing from Russian banks according to junior.

I work in real estate. I have long been familiar with Trumps record. That has nothing to do with raw story being a horrible source and the number of falsehoods they spout in their articles. There’s no reason to turn to rawstory for this.
