Why should companies supply prayer time to ANY employee??? No more african immigration - diversity always fails.

dec 31, 2015 DENVER (Reuters) - Nearly 200 workers, mostly Somali immigrants, have been fired from a meat-packing plant in Colorado after staging a walkout to protest what they said were insufficient prayer accommodations, the company and Islamic advocacy groups said on Thursday.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said the workers were treated in a “discriminatory manner” by managers at the Cargill Meat Solutions [CARGIL.UL] facility in Fort Morgan, about 75 miles northeast of Denver.

Jaylani Hussein, a spokesman for CAIR, said in a YouTube video posted by the group that the workers objected to new restrictions on their ability to worship on the job, "which they had been granted for a long period of time."

Actually they had prayer time before, and the right was removed (probably the owners randomly picked up some of the extremist islamophobia that has been going around), and they were protesting that decision.

Of course racist fascists hail the decision merely because it has to do with Muslims. Rightists truly aren't human.

Answer my question. Why should employers give prayer time to ANY employee.??? Stupid muslims insist on special treatment and when they don't get it, scream discrimination!!!
 
Maybe we should fire all observant Jews who refuse to work on the Sabbath too?

Actually let's just fire anyone who doesn't fit in with Christian traditions, also fire anyone who's disabled and needs accommodations. That's conservative America.

I can see a Catholic hospital offering prayer time for employees but that's about it.

Sorry, this isn't Saudi Arabia.
 
Employees have to be very careful in matters of religion, if you stop a Muslim from praying this will start the slippery slope into other things, like people bringing their Bibles into the break room and praying.

I I would like to see a separation of work and religion, but I know a lot of people don't agree with me.

Separation is appropriate if it does not prohibit. If Muslim employees wish to privately pray during their break times, they should be allowed to. What Muslims and other religions don't have a right to is (a) to demand religious expression during time on the clock. (b) in public areas that would require others to be respectfully quiet.
