The Equal Protection Clause is from the text of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. The clause, which took effect in 1868, provides "nor shall any State ... deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws".

When you create a special class or group with special protections, you have violated the Fourteenth Amendment.

What they need to do is distinguish between what is a right and what isn't a right. They claim marriage is a right yet the same ones that support two homos marrying quickly oppose two close relatives marrying or people having multiple spouses. According to them, love is love. That is, unless they oppose things.

Kids are extremely susceptible to peer pressure and social contagions. The last thing we should be doing is encouraging them to ‘come out’ when many of them are trying to develop emotionally or whatever.

I think that, in a way, it is much simpler and more rational. When I was in school, if anyone tried to bully me, I thumped 'em, preferably in the eye, so that it showed. They beat the hell out of me, but they let me be thereafter, because they didn't like being marked by someone smaller. When my grandson was in school a great and holy ban against 'violence' had appeared however, so when he was bullied and hit them, he got punished. The school he went to later, however, was most progressive. As you probably know, a favourite bullying-tactic is to call your victim 'gay' (or something more obscene), and anyone so bullied suddenly discovered that complaining of sexual discrimination got bullying stopped, and the more complicated your claim, the better. We suffered somewhat from popular astonishment during a period when he dressed up as a girl for anything public with which we were also involved (he is big, tough, and highly masculine). Fortunately we passed the tolerance test and, having left the bully-world of education behind, he has been able to become happily male again. I think people are a lot brighter and more sensible that this 'peer pressure' stuff suggests.

Foolishness, how much peer pressure would it take to make Darth sexually attracted to a male?

I could not be pressured into being sexually attracted to a female. I was not even bi curious. I’ve always only been attracted to males.
