1AM - Mueller team wrote for PUBLIC release. Actual evidence "alarming & significant"

HE is fighting it. His justice department is fighting it, the Republican party is fighting it. You are not that dumb.

Trump and the Republicans are not fighting anything regarding this report. Dems are.
We're already on to the investigation of the origins of this mess and the FISA fiasco.
Try and keep up.

NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION per Barr, per Mueller. Honestly I do not think Mullet would be concerned with Rosenstein.

Looks tome that Muellet wants it both was ( like Comey with the Hillary Emails) -no indictment but lets
go ahead and release anything that could damage POTUS anyways...
These federal prosecutors make up their own limits

Pretty close, I agree. They're now fishing for ANYTHING from this intelligence investigation report that they could turn into a criminal/political issue.
Desperation reigns.

Sure seems that way! Think about it. This is the FIRST TRICKLE of leaks from the Mueller team.

Yep.....the AG is obstructing justice.....it has to be, we all know TRUMP is guilty as hell, because Mueller (being the honest man that he is) came out and declared that AG BARR is lying about what is in his report to the Attorney Generals office. LMAO:laugh:

Then why is it not released?

Hello Jarod,

Well, there is certainly evidence of campaign finance violation.

Sworn testimony and a check.

We already know about that.

If the known is already up to the level of criminal activity, we have to ask what is the unknown?

Show US The Report!

are we there yet? are we there yet? are we there yet?

No, it will not be released as it would impugn the innocent and expose our nations secrets. Therefore, you will get the redacted version no matter how much you kick and scream.

Then the nutbag Adam Shifty Schiff will be exposed for the lying, dishonest hack we know him to be.

:good4u:

No one would ever want to sit on a jury again in this country.

Who told you that, Brad?

House Judiciary chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) is refusing to accept the report that the FBI, DOJ, and "Moscow" Mueller are preparing for release to Congress.

There are good reasons why prosecutors generally don’t release grand jury information.

In his letter to Congress, Attorney General William Barr specifically cited Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 6(e), which provides that government attorneys and the jurors themselves, among others, “must not disclose a matter occurring before the grand jury.”

Barr didn’t make this rule up, it’s not obscure or optional, and Nadler knows it. Barr stated in a letter to Nadler and the judiciary committee that the special counsel’s office is assisting in identifying portions that are grand-jury testimony or relate to ongoing investigations or prosecutions.

Back in 1998, as a member of the same committee, Nadler opposed the release of the Starr Report, saying that “as a matter of decency and protecting people’s privacy rights, people who may be totally innocent third parties, what must not be released at all. “It’s grand jury material! It represents statements which may or may not be true by various witnesses," Nadler said. "Salacious material. All kinds of material that it would be unfair to release.”

Thanks to the admin and mods: it is good to have a Board where all can share what they want without having libbies or trolls from the right banning them.

Then why is it not released?

That you don't know is very telling.

In 1978, Congress passed the Ethics in Government Act. The law was meant in part to protect independent counsels from interference. The section of the statute regarding oversight of the Independent Counsel says this person “shall advise the House of Representatives of any substantial and credible information which such independent counsel receives, in carrying out the independent counsel’s responsibilities under this chapter, that may constitute grounds for an impeachment.”

As a result of that process, independent counsels generally wrote their reports assuming they would be made public, says Katy Harriger, author of The Special Prosecutor in American Politics. Protected information, such as grand-jury testimony, would likely just be left out.

It happened that the 1978 statute expired in 1999, and so it followed that the procedures for a special prosecution were changed accordingly. In place of the old statute, the Department of Justice enacted internal regulations for a Special Counsel’s work. Those regulations included giving the Attorney General more power to decide how much of the final report of the investigation would be released to the public.

The section regarding the release of the Special Counsel report says, “At the conclusion of the Special Counsel’s work, he or she shall provide the Attorney General with a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel.” The Attorney General “may determine that public release of these reports would be in the public interest, to the extent that release would comply with applicable legal restrictions.”

Not included was a statute requiring Special Counsel investigations to be disclosed to Congress or the public.
