The democratic government wasn't widely supported, but it was the right government to have. The Iranian theocracy was widely supported, and its what they and the rest of the world got. And now we have a huge fucking mess in the Middle east, not even to mention the Iran-Iraq war which killed a million people.

you and I might think it's the right government to have, but if it wasn't what the iranian people wanted, they had every right to change their form of government. If their form of government invites war, then we'll just have to meet that challenge.

If a majority of the people in that country supported democratic representation, they should have gotten off their lazy, cowardly, sheepish asses...grabbed a weapon, and killed the radical extremists.
