Justin Robinson pleaded guilty last month to aggravated manslaughter in the death of Autumn Pasquale, leaves the courtroom after his sentencing on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, in Gloucester County, N.J.

Robinson was sentenced Thursday to 17 years in state prison for fatally strangling a 12-year-old girl whom he had lured to his home with an offer to trade bicycle parts.

well for starters he pleaded guilty. need to have incentives in the system otherwise no one would ever plead.

Prosecutors agreed to allow Robinson to plea to aggravated manslaughter rather murder because of challenges with the case. Because of his age and a developmental disability, it was not a sure thing that he would be moved to adult court. If he had been convicted of murder in juvenile court, he could have had a chance of parole in less than seven years.

People get all outraged by things like this, but they are usually based on sound reasoning, we just don't always know the full story. Like the McDonalds hot coffee case.

He lured a 12-year old girl to his house and then killed her? You don't find that disturbing?

I'm sure all the boards liberals are just waiting for him to be ass raped, by his big ole bunkmate.

And before someone starts screaming - "He's talking about the rape of a child" - the sick fuck was tried as an adult, so he's considered to be an adult.
