11 Million Tax Payers Lose 323 Billion in Deductions

So what if you overall tax liability goes down, who cares?

Liberal logic at its finest. "I don't mind paying more in taxes as long as I get deductions"

Tell ya what, leave the tax rates the same and bring back the deductions. Will that make you feel better?

go lay down for a nap till you sober up.

Eleven million taxpayers gain 646 billions in decreased tax rates and double the standard deduction allowance.

My figures are just as accurate as the Huff Post.

How many of those losing deductions lived in high tax Liberal States where they took a deduction for the exorbitant state and local taxes that are now limited?

good old fashioned politics

Pelosi has the majority. Where's the bill bringing back those deductions? Liberals want more tax money to go to the government. Now that you claim it's happening, why are you complaining?

Be honest, what you want is someone else paying more to the government so you can claim credit for it.

What I want is a lot of trump voters to realize how stupid they've been.

All these fucking fools who keep putting up these threads about taxpayers are doing better. Less taxes on more income? We had a thread running here just yesterday. I know better and I live in a NO STATE INCOME TAX state. (In other words, losing part or all of THAT deduction didn't phase me at all). I said and I will repeat, NO ONE will know how all this shakes down until the end of the year. 1 full APRIL 15th, and extension period (MANY small business owners use that) and then time for the #'s to be crunched

Some will win. (A small group will win BIG, we know who 'THEY' are!) Some will win incrementally. Many unexpectedly will lose. At BEST most of us will stay the same. Enjoy that tax cut along with your 2.9% average wage increase. But consider these for 2018 and see how you net out...

--Remember, NATIONWIDE, car insurance was expected to climb more than the 'average' increase during 2018. I don't know the cause.
--Homeowners insurance carriers, because of ALL the major disasters in so many states made judge payouts. I'm also sure they have to put more funds into reserve. They raised rates significantly in most states (many dramatically) last year. I for one was moved into a flood zone in DEC. Poof +22% increase in homeowners insurance and that was with the FEMA guaranteed policy.
--HEALTH INSURANCE, employer base, had a rise of 5%-15% on average last year. (And that was over all with all 'bigger' businesses who can offer health insurance. Think about the smaller groups or the self employed!)

Not knowing that "Trump" is a proper noun and requiring the upper case is pretty stupid.

The left has been screaming for more taxes. Now they get what they say they've always wanted and they're still miserable. :palm:
