Awesome theory, Terry, but I disagree. It was the same-minded assholes, if not a lot of the exact same assholes, who showed up on 1/6 two years ago.

I'm guessing there'll be a few more RW nutjob patsies murdering innocent people in church or at the grocery store and putting people in the dark during winter. One of those groups will do something truly and historically stupid causing the American public to advocate crushing them like the cockroaches they are.

Well, to be fair, in matters of science I don't tend to be that far off the mark.

You will, of course, be able to show me any errors I have made in the sciences.

T.A., on the other hand, well, let's just say if they are an historian, it seems maybe the tuition money was wasted.

Dutch seems pretty gullible. I mean, it's clear he fancies himself a cool, clear-eyed sharp, but sadly he's mostly just a waste.

At least he seems to be on the reasonable side of a lot of the politics on here but I assume that's like the old saw about blind pigs and truffles.

Your ego indicates your PhD is new. For old people, 5-10 years is relatively new. I'm guessing less than five.

Sorry Perry, I can't help you. I'm a pilot, not a chemical engineer.

Another indication of a newly minted PhD; you feel compelled to attack people with other degrees. In another conversation regarding fossil fuels, you said you were not concerned about the size of the population. While I understand the need for specialization, someone needs to be looking at the larger picture because population does matter. Hopefully scientists and engineers can find more efficient, cleaner means for energy, but the demand for energy is based upon population growth.

This is seen in the rolling blackouts in the NE during the past cold snap. Does anyone really think energy demands will be going down? Or will they simply see more blackouts?...worse in summer.

If any Russian bots are on here, they are most likely information gatherers, not active agents. There might be a paid Republican bot or two. Most are simply hateful geezers with a few paintball heroes in the mix.

That's the point. I'm also interested in your truer nature. So far, newly minted PhD in "science" who is insecure enough to attack other degrees or specialties. You're also quick to anger, which indicates excessive life stressors. New job? Boyfriend cheating on you and you don't know what to do about it?

Research in cutting global warming sources is both good and necessary. The controversy is how it will be done without doing harm to voting Americans. I don't have the answers but understand breakthroughs in energy production would be useful for colonizing space, the Moon and Mars.
