1 Out Of Every 509 Americans Has Died Of COVID

You've made all of my mistakes on an anonymous internet board? What were the consequences? Because I can't recall any, although I did get kicked off of one board for being an asshole, and I get to own the magtards.

Awesome. Feel like you won something?

 Do you understand the difference between 5.0 and 0.05%, kid?

Motivated by emotion. You're angry. You're angry a lot. You have a huge LGBTQ chip on your shoulder and get angry with anyone who disagrees. Your posts prove this over and over again.

Agreed others are overly emotional too.

Do you know what scientific notation is, dumbass?

How would you express 5.844155844155844e-4 as a percentage?

[Need that Jeopardy music]

Yes, people who dislike or "disagree" with LGBTQ people should be shot in the fucking forehead. That's not a personal anger problem. That's a human decency imperative.

One of your biggest problems, Dutch, is that you don't actually stand for much. Things are overly fluid for you. You think people are allowed to hate other people because 1.) you don't fall in whatever group is being discriminated against at any given moment and 2.) you don't have positions with durable foundations. I can psychoanalyze you better than you can psychoanalyze me, but it's all worthless, isn't it?

Good talk, champ.

Awesome. Feel like you won something?

So you can't acknowledge that your talking about posting behavior on an anonymous internet board; and you can describe what consequences you think you suffered and supposedly "learned from".

You're such a feckless pussy, Dutch.

It's not emotion. It's snark and hyperbole. In a way, it's a form of trolling, I suppose. That is how I choose to deal with covidiots, Trumpy cultists, and most Republicans. I also apply it to a handful of Denocratic morons on this site.
Really? Not emotion? What is the purpose of trolling? What is the drive to troll? Certainly not logical. Are you really so deluded that you think calling people names and being unwilling to discuss complex issues like an adult is doing a public service?

Dude, I'm not a covidiot, Trumper or a Republican yet you never engage me in intellectual discuss. It's always like this:

BTW, you can learn a lot about a person's personality on an anonymous message board. Like a drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts, the mask of anonymity allows people to be themselves unfiltered. Especially when they are pissed off.

Remember Mel Gibson's drunken antisemitic rant? Like that except anonymously.

Agreed. He's young and a flamer with a chip on his shoulder. It's not uncommon for young, aggressive males who have been discriminated against to lash out, mostly emotionally. Some women do it too, but men and women in American culture tend to react a little differently when under attack.

Being discriminated against is wrong. There's no excuse for hating someone simply because of their skin tone or being gay. OTOH, reacting equally hateful doesn't fix the problem.

To a large extent, I think Diesel is more civil in public and is mostly demonstrating Displaced Aggression AKA Kick-the-Cat Syndrome. He can't or won't do it to the assholes in his real life so he takes it out on anyone who disagrees with him online.

Direct aggression follows the tit-for-tat rule that governs most social interaction: A provocation or frustration elicits verbally or physically aggressive behavior that is directed toward the source of that provocation or frustration, typically matching or slightly exceeding its intensity. In displaced aggression, an aggressive behavior is directed at a person or other target (e.g., a pet) that is not the source of the aggression arousing provocation or frustration. Displaced aggression occurs when it is impossible or unwise to respond aggressively toward the source of the provocation or frustration.

Hello Dutch Uncle,

Yes. It helps to be twice as old as you; I've made all of your mistakes a few times and learned from it.

Your choice if you want to make all the mistakes yourself or learn from the mistakes of others.

It is frustrating to know things that could help other people, and try to tell them, but they won't even listen.

There is a lot of that going around.

And it has been happening ever since humans developed language.

True, but I was a little dense myself growing up. It's pretty normal for Euro-American males, gay or straight.

LOL re "developed language".

But the thing that gets me about him is his silly libertarian socialism I think he called it

Complete balderdash

Limited government that is socialist?

It makes me believe he’s merely a hate bot designed to create fissures where they don’t exist

A shatter bot type

We can't really know how it was in the beginning. I assume we were like any other animal, speaking in the language of body movement, making whatever sounds might seem appropriate. Spoken language had to come out of that.

I recall thinking, as I wrote the previous post, that those in the know have probably been trying to communicate what they knew to those who did not even BEFORE there was spoken language!

Animals do it all the time.

It’s very hard for the privileged set to see the privilege they had anointed at birth

Men tend to be less compassionate due to brain wiring so it’s more of a slog (for the average male) to see the position of others

Women had to be wired to be more compassionate due to being the child producers and nursers

The compassion challenged versions didn’t have children who survived

But the men smart enough to see through this wiring and step in others shoes for a second will forever benifit themselves and mankind

Otherwise we would still be in caves

Dogs read human emotion better than humans do

Lots of people post silly thoughts. Not me, of course, but lots. :D

One thing I look for is consistency as opposed to just floating ideas. I don't recall the "libertarian socialism" conversation, but there seems to be a political party and name for everything. There's so much variation that it's like trying to pick the silt out of muddy waters. Impossible to do without a lot of heavy filtration.

He's not a bot; he's an intelligent late 20s/early 30s Euro-American male who is gay and lets his freak flag rule his head to the point of self-destruction.

His final chapter isn't written but I give it an 80% chance of him growing out of it and learning to love himself and a 20% chance of a drug OD.
