If you look at the history of this, the higher this guy goes, the more likely he ends up being charged with something and that's that. He would hardly be the first congress critter to be charged with some heinous sex crime.

I'm pretty sure that a party who manifestly did not care when two of their staffers literally recorded themselves butt-fucking in the Senate chamber are not going to let one of their Senators be impeached.
Barney Frank got off with a motion to reprimand - the least severe formal sanction - when he was caught running a gay brothel out of his townhouse. Frank won re-election in 1990 with 66% of the Democrat vote.

That used to be the case. However, now things like that can't be covered up and a compliant MSM makes little difference. The electronics age has made it possible for such scandals to stay in the light and grow massively. What happens now is once some scandal like that starts, people come out of the woodwork and find more and more and it only grows.

He is out performing almost everyone. I doubt it is without inside information. I'd like to see how he does after Nancy leaves office. But I don't think that information will be public then.
