Not America's. He would be the first corporate representative sitting in the POTUS's chair, in our movie away from a republic and towards a fascist dictatorship of a corporate appointed executive branch. The election of the Republicans in 2012 would mean the end of the experiment the founders set up 200 years ago. It would mean the end of freedom, the end of liberty, the end of the constitution. We can't let those who want to take away our freedom, those who want to enslave us, and their useful idiots succeed.

do you really think we're going to believe the New York Times saying 53% of Obama's contributions came from people who gave less than $200?......we both know they came to that conclusion by dividing the contributions given by unions by the total members in the union......it doesn't change the fact the money came from one place in one check.......

I share your deep concerns about the executive branch of our Government. It has become to powefull. This appeals to the right wing base who are attracted to authoritarianism. This, however, was not the intent of our founding fathers. They intended Congress to be our predominant government institution. Unfortunately in recent years Republican drift towards far right extremism has made congress almost completely dysfunctional. This has created a significant problem in terms of the constitutional checks and balances with the result that the executive branch of government has become disproportianetly more powerful since partisan gridlock.

I find this particularly ironic in that the tea party faction of the Republican party and other right wing activist have forced the Republican party even further to the right to the point that it is completely unwilling to compromise in order to undermine the Obama/Democrat administration. I find this ironic in that it is backfiring on them as with the unsuing gridlock rendering congress incapable of acting on the nations business and with public dissaproval of congress at all time low, the executive branch of government has only grown more powerful since congress has failed to assume its leading role in governance. Eventually, if this continues, it will precipitate a crisis in governance.

Did you just make that up off of the top of your head? I'm sorry, but when you make something up off of the top of your head, no, we do not "all know" that it is true. The maximum donation is $2,500. A union cannot offer one check of any amount greater than $2,500 in direct contributions.

Only contributions to Super PACs are unlimited, because they are not officially affiliated with candidates. They are like racketeering firms, pretending to not be affiliated with the crime, still existing because of a legal fiction that everyone knows is utterly divorced from reality. "What, we've got nothing to do with this candidate!" wink wink, nudge nudge. American Crossroads, for instance, raised 30 million in 2010, 91% of it from billionaires, and this was considered an astounding and unprecedented sum. This election season, they've raised 300 million.

The end of the republic.

I invented a new grammar rule making pronouns more consistent with the rest of the language the other day, and I just decided to put it into use. People who use "whose" from now on are to be sentenced to 20 years in Siberia.

Why aren't you in Siberia?

Romney, as the first corporate president, will serve corporations. Corprations are people according to Mitt.
Welcome to fascism.
