Are you sure? Do you have a cite for that? I am not saying you are wrong, but I thought I heard differently...

If it did, it does not change a lot, Bush does deserve some credit either way, its just funny that he was trying to minimize the importance of getting BinLadden while The President was trying to highlight the importance of getting him...

i've read it in multiple stories....i only mentioned it to show that bush did not actually stop pursuing bin laden. i think his words were an attempt to marginalize bin laden....

So if Gitmo is a recruiting tool for terrorists, as The Obama claimed during his 08 campaign, then why isn't "spiking the football" over bin Laden's murder also a recruiting tool for terrorists?​

Clinton didn't have 9/11 and over 3,000 murdered citizens. Bush needed Osama alive and on the loose to sell his wars, IMHO.

good lord...do you ever read what is actually posted? it clearly states they found the courier under bush, but it took two years to identify where the courier and his brother operated in pakistan....
