so being correct is right wing? I beg to differ.
It's not treason when the people turn against their government, but rather when the government turns against the people.

Looks like you agreed with Brevik yesterday. That either make you stupid or a liar, which is it?

Where is Smarter than a Cabbage? Maybe he looked back on the thread and realized what a foolish racist rightwing authoritarian he really is.

so the news stories about sharia law and sharia courts in european countries, as well as some in the US, are all made up by lying conservative websites, right?

It seems that all extremists begin with this. I wonder if he knows how much his action is parallel to the action of a Muslim extremist in court? We've seen them reject the authority of the court numerous times, for a different reason, but the same result.

Breivik's fallacious claim is that Islam's growth in the West has been encouraged by liberal elites as a means to destroy traditional Christian culture.

Is there much difference between Breivik and, say, Blabo?

Poor Blabo.

You think speaking intellectually about a topic is the same thing as a lunatic going to some camp and killing kids that aren't even Muslim to get back at the Muslims? I detect a disconnect from reality here, rootbeer.

Good point. LOL at Blabo "speaking intellectually", though.

Do you detect a disconnect when some try to pretend Breivik isn't a rightwinger?

You think speaking intellectualy about a topic doesn't lead to lunatics acting out on that information? As Norwegian as Brevik is, I don't think he developed his opinions in a vaccum.

People don't like to claim nutjob extremists. It's the "team" thing, people don't want this idiot on their "team"... He's simply a radical extremist.

I don't necessarily know how rightwing he is in some things, but clearly he is culturally conservative. He is upset about losing their culture, but doesn't seem to want to end the social programs that Europeans like. Does that mean he is a left-right extremist?

I would call him more of a cultural conservative extremist than a "rightwing"... He doesn't fit naturally into what we in the US would call a rightwinger.

In your opinion.

Right. Because in the United States right wingers are hardly ever culturally conservative.
