The guy quoted in the article says he is only speaking the truth. Poet previously stated the truth is not racist. If one believes that then I guess it is up to each person to determine what the truth is.

The fact is he wasn't speaking the truth...and the general consensus is that his statements were, in fact, "racist". Speaking the truth is not racist. Making racist statements does not amount to the truth. The converse is not true for the statement I made.
