Lead by example...

Let's put this in perspective. Is Paul Ryan in a position of leadership? Why are you not questioning his complete and utter failings of leadership?
When Bush was president, did you contrive things he should have done or said?
Why did you not respond to my comment about the contract most members of the GOP have signed, ensuring that any such action by Obama would be pointless?

Currently I am speaking to the hypocrisy of this leader of the Democratic party who is currently, at this very moment, promoting what he says he believes but will not follow, nor set the example.

If Paul Ryan were promoting this "fix" that will not fix a thing, yet continued to follow a different path for his own personal gain I would call him a hypocrite also, he is not however one branch of the government in and of himself, nor is he promoting this for his political gain although he clearly doesn't believe it in practice.

LOL. Again, you seem desperate to cover hypocrisy for political gain. I'm good with that. However, he is currently preaching that "change" in the hopes of making dramatic points politically, there is "hope", and if he really believed it to be "right" then there should be no hesitation to lead the way personally, instead he makes it clear that even he doesn't believe that this is right, at least not for rich people like him, only for those "bad" ones.

You really buy into that kind of empty symbolism?

Or is it just because it's Obama?

The contract to not raise taxes?
This is hillarious, that some of you think of something, and the President is a hypocrite because he didn't do something you imagine he could do, but would never do yourselves.

yet another liberal with no concept of what leadership means.

If leadership means digging yourself into a hole and allowing those who do not support what you belive in to grow more powerfull, you are correct, I dont have a concept of it.

If you want to change the law, you have to play by the law as it currently exists, while fighting to change it.

Good point, if Bush had leadership skills, according to this theory, he would have been fighting on the front lines in Iraq!

LMAO... so you are saying that the wealthy paying more in taxes is 'digging themselves into a hole' and thus we should not raise taxes on the wealthy?

LMAO... um... no Jarod, the US Treasury will currently accept any extra you want to pay. If you feel you should be paying more, you are free to do so.

You just stated that if Obama paid more taxes he would be digging a hole for himself. Do taxes affect Obama differently than other wealthy people Jarod?

If you pay more than you are required, and others dont, you, by comparison are financially weaker than the one who did not pay extra.

Not true. What if the other person is paying more to charity rather than taxes? They are still in effect without the money. They are just controlling where it goes. Dung and Onceler have stated 'obama has done enough because he gave to charity'.

Also... only if the person had the exact same income as Obama would that be true. Obama could pay 30% and still be far stronger than the average American. He could pay zero and still not be financially stronger than those who make substantially more than him.

No matter how many times it is pointed out, you just can't seem to fathom that neither you nor Bill O'Reily get to decide what the president should do. Truly effing hillarious.
