I believe you're asking the question seriously so I will respect that and answer it seriously. The repukes of late are no friends of the female gender. They just don't seem to get it that American women want and deserve just as much freedom as American men. They don't seem to get it that women's health issues are better left to women and their doctors and the best that science has to offer them. Repukes just don't get it that stifling women's rights does not produce any jobs and that doesn't go unnoticed. War? That's not a word that I would have chosen but it has far more meaning in this context than the truly false "war on christmas" and I'll take it for what it's worth.

Two months ago, there were two war memes claiming legitimacy and competing for media buy-in: "the War on Women" versus the "War on Religion."

The "War on Women" outlasted and knocked out its contender relatively easily because the Republican-contrived "War on Religion" was based purely on political spin, while antiwomen's health legislation had real-world consequences and tentacles that had been growing for years.

Without doubt

Without doubt
Make sure to vote in the poll, or the deniers will claim victory... Fueled by large conservative margins in statehouses after the 2010 elections, Republican legislators went on an unprecedented and relentless bill writing spree to: limit women's access to the healthcare; restrict a woman's right to make personal, private decisions about what's best for her own health; and even ban contraception through "personhood" amendments. Not to be left behind, conservatives in Congress briefly tried to redefine the meaning of rape and zoned in on Planned Parenthood as right-wing enemy Number One by voting to defund the clinics that 5 million women depend on for vital health services each year. Though Republicans continue to try to lay blame on Democrats and the media, the coordinated attack--aimed at the most important voting block--was sealed in the hearts and minds of women voters through a series of back-to-back prominent missteps. This "storm" was perfected by Susan G. Komen's misguided decision to listen to a former Republican gubernatorial candidate and sever its relationship with Planned Parenthood, the state of Virginia's attempt to force transvaginal ultrasounds on women seeking abortions, Rush Limbaugh's cowardly, misogynistic attack on Sandra Fluke, and former Gov. Mitt Romney's hypocritical attempt to lure conservative primary voters that led him to declare he would "get rid of Planned Parenthood." Add it all up, and you get a meme that is bolstered by numerous facts--a shockingly real and legit war on women's health. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/...1204100410debate.women.grapr11,0,658675.story

Oops, how can I take that vote back? I misread the question and answered inappropriately. My answer is YES. The republican war on women is as real as it gets.

That's exactly why most republican women want Obamacare repealed.

I'd ask you for some corroboration to prove your claim...bet everyone here already knows you don't do corroboration.

Must be nice to live in a fantasy world where you never have to back up your bullshit, eh Dix?

Well what do you have to say about Hilary Rosen's comments to the contrary? That it's "time to end this PHONY WAR and get back to the issues." Is Hilary Rosen a Republican now? Republicans nominated a woman VP last election, and this election, a woman candidate was front-runner for a while. I personally know dozens of republican women, so I know they do exist. Liberals have this thing where they create illusions in their head, based on their own rhetoric and propaganda, like believing that women in general are not republican supporters. In actuality, it's almost an even split, democrats tend to do better with any minority group, so they enjoy a slight edge with women voters, but when you take out the stay at home welfare moms, (Hilary Rosen doesn't think their opinion counts), it's about dead even.
