That's not what I heard. But okay. He was wrong. It's hard to be "much further" than Florida while turning yourself in to Florida authorities. It's possible he was Yesterday, but returned today as well.

It is also very unlikely he's armed at this moment. Don't worry Darla, the scary Latino guy is locked up for the time being.

This is going to be on hell of a media circus for the summer with the fed investigation of Wolfinger waiting in the wings.....because going to trial with a 2nd degree murder charge opens the possibility of conviction on a lesser charge of manslaughter if the first charge doesn't pan out.

And of course, the Stand Your Ground law will be inadvertently put on trial for the national audience (with A.L.E.C. being given uwanted publicity courtesy of the independent media/journalist). And of course, you'll have the right wing media just acting the fool!

Gotta agree....its gonna be a media circus.....if it gets televised, its gonna get bigger ratings that Oprah....

MSNBC oughta get the tv rights....they can edit out all of the defense so you can just get the parts you want....

I think it was likely he was preparing to turn himself in, also likely in contact with lawyers that were not them to find out time and place.

It is not always about YOU Darla. Many others also made similar claims that Zimmerman was running or about to bolt and that it confirmed his guilt.
 
You dont know where Zimmerman was or what he was doing in the hours before he turned himself in. You dont know when he was told that charges were going to filed against him. To speculate would be, I think, foolish.

Zimmerman could have traveled from MANY places, inside the state or from outside the state, within a few hours. Police could have let it be known that they were prepared to arrest him and take him in from Paduccah, Kentuckey and prevailed upon him the necessity that he turn himself in, for all you know. Zimmerman could have been armed, for all you know. These are possabilities not speculation on my part as to what he was doing. To speculate, I think, would be foolish.
