You really don't understand reality do you? The average person in this country is of average intellegence. 1/2 are dumber than average.
Personal responsibility has NOTHING to do with it. People can only work with what they have. Stupid people are succeptible to sophistry and lies, hence Karl Rove, Rush Windbag and Fauxnews and the very existence of the GOP.

the reality of the CU debacle is you want to put the government in charge of making sure that the people aren't swayed by special interests promoting pro government. it's like putting the fox in charge of the chicken coop. THAT is what's stupid. and WHY are the people dumber than shit? a faulty public education system. dumbing down of america mean anything to you now? the fact that you can't see this as an orchestrated set of events, but prefer to call it a conspiracy theory, immediately drops you in to the dumber than average group.

The fact that you don't understand junior highschool statistics means that your screen name is very misleading. I am over trying to explain simple
facts to you. I could never understand why you are so obtuse before, but it is obvious now.
I will throw you a bone though. FYI, no matter what the education level of a given population, exactly half will be dumber than average, or you know, the ones you compared yourself to when you decided upon your screen name.

I am a public school graduate of the class of 1968. I was spoon-fed all kinds of mis-information back then. I've managed to correct much of it in my own mind to satisfy myself but I am certain some bullshit remains from agenda driven textbooks that I haven't thought enough about to correct yet. That is what is wrong with the CU decision from an abstract POV.

your idiot 'half dumber than average' is based on most of that society being just plain stupid. given the group you align yourself with, I can see why you would think that though. I tend to believe that one can educate those around them to be more intelligent, at least the political issues that surround them. and if they can't keep up, then they will eventually fall anyway. my screenname is completely appropriate compared to your intelligence.

And you're not well-versed in the English language to have picked the "appropriate" word. Intelligence is not measured in terms of power, or strength. It is an intrinsic quality, not extrinsic, per se. For one, you're not smarter than I.
