The Attack of the Dumb Blonde

they are abandoning in record numbers? cite.

and then you need to cite why.

"President Obama has emerged with an impressive lead in swing states around the country — thanks to women voters abandoning the GOP in droves, according to a new USA Today/Gallup poll showing President Obama leading among women voters in the top dozen battleground states by a whopping 18 points — greater than the 12-point gender gap he won with in 2008.

One month ago, the same poll showed Mitt Romney leading the president by 2 percentage points; but Sunday, the newest poll gave Obama a 9-point lead, 51 percent to 42 percent. The change, the poll indicates, comes from women:

“The biggest change came among women under 50. In mid-February, just under half of those voters supported Obama. Now more than six in 10 do while Romney’s support among them has dropped by 14 points, to 30%. The president leads him 2-1 in this group.”

Both Democrats and Republicans point to the battles over contraception coverage as a reason for the shift. Republican strategist Sara Taylor Fagen, a former political adviser to President George W. Bush, told USA Today that “The focus on contraception has not been a good one for us … and Republicans have unfairly taken on water on this issue.”

Now as for "record numbers" that's not a claim I made, and in order to back it up you'd have to go through every poll in history. I'm not doing that. Who cares? The bottom line is - you guys are in trouble with women. You can cover your ears, jump and down, screaming "I can't HEARRRRRR you" all you want.

In fact, keep doing that. I've got a Supreme Court pick to worry about. Yeah, just keeping doing that.

Thanks.

and onceler trolls the friendly threads again...no surprise you don't offer anything

Not trolling anything. If you read the #'s in the OP, you'd understand that women are ditching the GOP in droves.

The GOP's "image people" haven't really slept this year when it comes to women. It's been a PR disaster on that front, and it will have ramifications in November.

i wouldn't call that droves. also...do you have anything to support your reasons why? it is hilarious how pissy you get when someone asks for a cite to back up a liberal claim, but you have no problem wanting cites to support conservative claims.

if you followed my links, you would see that there is no war on women. at least i support my claims.

You wouldn't call it droves? If those numbers hold not only will you lose the Presidential race, you will have to get used to saying "Madame Speaker" again.

That's droves enough for me!

Actually all you need to do is observe how the Republicans have reacted. The Senate Republicans told Blunt he better stfu or they were going to put a cap in his ass...or whatever fat old white men say in that situation. The point being, the Republicans themselves have been talking to the press, often off the record, but some have gone on record (Lisa Murkowski being one) stating that they have been badly hurt with women by recent Republican actions.

But like I said, keep putting your hands over your ears and screaming "I can't HEARRRRRR you". If you stand next to Superfreak you won't even have to scream, he'll do it for you. But I still recommend holding your hands over your ears.

I'd call it droves, but more importantly, your GOP masters would certainly call it droves - and they are definitely panicking in the back rooms right now.

I can't even remember the last time I asked for a "cite." You ask constantly, even when there are #'s in the OP that you apparently missed.

Where is a face palm when you need one?

The liberals have been lying about it?

The conservatives have been trying to make it about religious freedoms and tax dollars, when the issue is about whether insurance companies cover contraceptives.

yes, liberals have been lying about it.....they are pretending its about preventing women from having contraceptives when it is about who should pay for it........
