wait...i thought "experts" claimed that the ME situation, iran notably, was a reason for higher gas prices....not obama's policies.

the oil speculators thought that there would be a war with iran by now and that that would have reduced the availability oil hence their bidding up the price of oil

but no war so far

they also considered iran withholding oil. just a year ago, or about, iran threatened to halt oil exports and oil prices rose skyward. iran felt smug because all they had to do was threaten an oil "embargo" and oil shot straight up.

so...how is obama helping oil prices?
