Well, here I thought Darla's warped views of Libertarians would be the dumbest thing I would read this week, but damned if PETA didn't step in and out dumb her.

PETA has convinced even more airlines to stop shipping monkeys that are to be used for research. I would imagine PETA members are going to volunteer to replace the monkeys in the trials? That would probably save the smarter primates for future studies and let the ignorant PETA primates be the original test dummies. I wonder how PETA thinks new drugs and procedures are to be tested? Are we to stop trying to end cancer, Parkinsons, Alzheimers etc...???

Or will it be as the article correctly points out... that the jobs will simply go overseas?

LMAO... seriously... go back and read that thread. Then honestly come on back here and tell us which of us was acting out in that thread. You can pretend she 'got the best of me' all you like... but in reality, she has no idea what Libertarians stand for and has no interest in learning. All she cares about is blaming their ideology for what happened. She is using Martin's death to push HER ideology, which is sad and pathetic. Just as the action of PETA in the article above are sad and pathetic. The reason PETA wins the moron of the week over Darla is that their stupidity is going to cost American jobs and it is going to have an adverse effect on scientific research. Whereas Darla will simply remain in her ignorant state of what Libertarians stand for.

When you go back and read the thread... see what happens every time someone tried to explain what Libertarians actually stand for. What was her response to Billy? and 3D? Do you recall?
 
Man, I should start an airline. Not only one that flys the monkeys around, but one that doesn't make flying sound less pleasant than sticking my hand in a meat grinder. But in fairness to PETA, they never claimed that they gave a damn about humans, or their jobs.

LOL... true... they only care about the animals (well except for the 95% or so of the animals PETA 'saves' that get sent to the gas chamber on day one)

The main problem with that is her ideology already won that battle. Not a single Libertarian made even one of the choices that led to the guy not being arrested. When upset at how the government is acting it is best to look at who is in power in that area rather than try to assume that blame should assign to people who aren't even on the playing field.

Maybe the PETA members will alllow themselves to be used to test the medication that could possibly save thousands and thousands of people.
