Did the Republicans blame their president then?

Gas prices are not Obama's fault, but Bush made the prices soar. Liberal logic: How does it work?

Can you cite a "Obama is to blame for gas prices" from anyone (but a liberal trying to prop up a strawman)? Conservatives KNOW the president has little to do with prices of goods.

true....in 2008 oil hit $145 a barrel....that was the price in early July.....on July 15 Bush lifted the ban on domestic production......by July 18 the price had dropped to $128 a barrel.....it continued to go down until, by the day of the election it was down to around $60......Bush had nothing to do with it, of course......

Obama reinstated the ban in February, 2009....now oil is over $100 a barrel.....Obama had nothing to do with it, of course.....

Take a look at some of the threads on JPP, in this forum. Then listen to the rightwing morons the GOP is run by.

why bring up Tinfoil.....YOU'RE the one who looks stupid.....you tried to pretend gas prices went DOWN during the Obama presidency......you actually asked if Republicans cheered Obama because the price of gas was only $1.84 when he was inaugurated.....obviously not, because it wasn't Obama that brought the price of oil down to $1.84.....it was Obama who brought the price of oil up to $3.84 since the day he was inaugurated......

even the title of your thread is a lie.....almost all of that price increase occurred after March of 2008 and it was back to normal levels by August of 2008.....

why is it the liberals on this board are so frickin' stupid?.....

You are the liar here. Your own chart shows a steady ascension over a period of several years, only ever mitigated by the collapse of the world economy in '08. :palm:

Average gas prices--January 26, 2009: Regular gasoline/gallon $1.84

Did Righties give Obama credit for the low prices that occurred following his inauguration?

Gas prices on December 31st, 2008 were at $1.64 per gallon... Interesting. So it went up after Obama was inaugurated and you want people to give him credit for the prices going down?

It sounds much like you started talking out an orifice not meant for communication suddenly.

You are the best at distorting reality.

 Thank God the economy collapsed and drove down the price of oil, retard.

Poor Dune... The point retard is that if he is going to quote what gas prices were from the start to finish, he should actually include the start and FINISH rather than a cherry picked high point. The $4.40 was also an aberration. As was the insanely low gas prices at the turn of the century. Or do you believe oil really only cost $10 a barrel in 1999?

Poor Supershill. Anything to avoid the truth.
