Like the Titanic, Rush Goes Down in April

Do you see Liberals campaigning for Bill Maher for President?

Re: Sen. Edwards. Did you see liberals giving him a standing ovation and encouraging him to run for President AFTER having been exposed?

Do you see Liberals making religion and family values a campaign platform?

And all the while Gingrich was "religiously" going after President Clinton he was having his own affair.

Perhaps you can answer this for me. It is a case of the Repubs not being able to see the hypocrisy or is it they don't care? Do they believe people like Gingrich has been "born again" and is a good guy now or do they really not give a damn? If it's the latter then all this morals and values talk is just rhetoric, right?

Take the SC convention, for example. Did the people stand up because they felt John King was picking on a guy who has turned a page in his life and is now a good man or did that not enter into it?

I personally don't know of any liberal who gave Clinton, Edwards, Gary Hart or any other cheating dem a pass for their actions. But when I learned Gingrich was having his own affair at the same time he was excoriating Clinton, it finished me with the "family values" party. And it wasn't only Gingrich; as I recall, info about other repubs and their affairs started coming out of the woodwork after the impeachment, i.e. the uber-hypocrite Henry Hyde, who presided over the trial.

The king of conservative talk radio brought to life a dormant Twitter account on Thursday to try and push back on the viral campaigns that have sprung up following his attacks on Sandra Fluke and thus far cost his Premier Networks-syndicated show up to 140 sponsors. Limbaugh, whose audience skews older than the prime Twitter demographic, started his account in February 2009; his profile currently only has two tweets, both sent yesterday, and currently boasts 112,000 followers. His most recent troubles began when he spent three days attacking Fluke, a Georgetown student and birth control advocate who had sought to testify in front of Congress, a "slut" and a "prostitute" who was having so much sex that she couldn't afford contraception on her own. He gave a tepid apology that weekend, but continued rebukes from Fluke, President Obama and various advocacy groups continued to erode his support in the weeks that followed. In addition to the loss of advertisers, he has been pulled off the air of a number of radio stations, and his show has been broadcast with ample dead air and PSAs on his home network of WABC.

Watched a move about Palin last night

No you didn't. You watched a film about the liberal perspective of Palin, which was filled with errors and false insinuation.

In the distant future, movie critics will probably develop a genre for early 21st century political propaganda films like this.

They could call it... Pinhead Noir!

Jeez, I hope you don't live in Florida, I heard such speech is a crime there!

I guess this is when it's good you don't have any sponsors and no one cares enough about what you say to boycott you?

Exacatly. Having a lucid moment right now for some reason?

The movie made her look good moron.

Palin is/was a public figure... It does not excuse tge name calling but the outrage against Rush is that many felt Rush was, by extension, calling there wives and daughters sluts because they used birthcontrol.

Nearly six out of 10 Americans hold an unfavorable opinion of radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, and seven out of 10 disapprove of his recent derogatory remarks about a Georgetown University law student, according to a new national poll.

The survey, by Public Policy Polling, comes two weeks after Limbaugh called student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute.” Fluke testified on Capitol Hill as an advocate of including contraception in health coverage offered by church-supported colleges and universities.

“Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Rush Limbaugh?” the pollster asked.
Twenty six percent said favorable, 58 percent unfavorable, with 16 percent unsure.

Eighty-three percent of Democrats and 61 percent of Independents view Limbaugh unfavorably. He still gets a 52 percent favorable rating from Republicans.

“Did you think the comments Rush Limbaugh made about Sandra Fluke last week were appropriate?” PPP asked.
Seventy percent said inappropriate, just 16 percent appropriate, with 14 percent unsure. Fifty-five percent of Republicans surveyed said Limbaugh’s defaming of Fluke was inappropriate.

(Bravo) Now you've got me...I don't speak for republicans and don't know what they believe....and it would be better to speak to a Democrat about hypocrisy, they
are the experts and masters of the trait.....

(Apple) Take the SC convention, for example. Did the people stand up because they felt John King was picking on a guy who has turned a page in his life and is now a good man or did that not enter into it?

(Bravo) Ya got me again...I wasn't at the SC convention.....

Questions, questions, questions.....

glad to be of some help

Unfortunately, you weren't much help. :(

LOL... Well, I haven't watched it and don't intend to... maybe it was just the previews that made her look bad?

This reminds me of the Liberaled-up load of made-for-tv crap we had dumped on us about Ronnie Reagan, with James Brolin playing the affable doting president... just a bunch of partisan bitter vitriolic left-wing propagandized CRAP with no historic or factual significance.

Okay, first of all, which liberal pinhead bastion conducted this particular 'survey' and how many people were asked, etc?

Secondly... If 6/10 were unfavorable toward Rush, and only 7/10 found his comments inappropriate, that means that only 1/10 who are okay with Rush, aren't being partisan liberal hypocrites, and legitimately thought he went too far. Sounds about right.. One in ten!

Ahh... Public Policy Poling! Wooooo! They sound soooo fair and objective!! Georgie Soros did a good job fronting them!

“Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Rush Limbaugh?” the pollster asked.
Twenty six percent said favorable, 58 percent unfavorable, with 16 percent unsure.

Which pretty much tells us all we need to know about the poling sample. Tell ya what, pinhead... let's go find 6 people who hate your guts, and 4 people who don't... then, let's ask them ANY GODDAMN FUCKING QUESTION regarding whether they 'approve' or 'disapprove' of some of the idiotic shit you've said, and let's see if we can finagle just ONE out of the ten to agree that you are a moronic fuckwit? Then... let's try to SPIN that as some Big Fucking Revelation!

LMFAO!

Unfortunately, you weren't much help. :(

Typical. Just as he did in the Limbaugh slur discussions, Blabo bloviates bombastically before suddenly announcing that he has no knowledge of the incident being discussed.

Poor Blabo.
