He's gotta have something to do in those "in between" times when he's not working on new threads about how unfair everyone was to Bush on gas prices...

I swear to GOD you've got to let people know you're going to do one of those jokes.

I read your reply while drinking some coffee and just sprayed my keyboard with it!

Onceler has an incredibly dry sense of humor. I found this thread the other day, it showed up on the bottom here or on who's online, I forget, somewhere, anyway it was "darla" so I went to look at it. And I had forgotten all about it, I "came out" as a gay man after some idiot from one of Damo's other websites accused me of being that. And gonzojournalist (anyone remember that idiot??) says "I'm surprised I"m the only one who already knew this" and Onceler replies "I'm not" and I just cracked up.

Very dry, but really hilarious sometimes.

Libtards cannot go more than a week without reporting something about Sarah Palin, unfortunately this story has nothing to do with her. Too bad the writers did not go into why would a public school spend $100,000 of tax payer money on this piece of shit artwork.

The requirement in Alaska is that 1% of the total cost of public buildings is to be spent on an art project. The tax payers of Wasilla paid for the sculpture.

Next question I suppose is fairly obvious. Who, in their right mind, determined that that was art? And I speak as one who 'occasionally' appreciates the work submitted for the Turner prize!! and one who 'usually' appreciates off the wall expressions by artists and non artists alike.
Many years ago this sort of stuff was described as 'phoney art' or 'ph-art' for short!

I don't know who picks the artists, but we have some very ugly sculptures in front of some of our public buildings. It irritates me when I think of the amount of money spent on them. My grandchildren could create a better design. Phoney art is right.
