Quite Possibly the Most Offensive Law Passed in the U.S. in My Lifetime

Virginia State Senator Janet Howell had a similar idea:

On Monday Howell expressed her disdain for legislation requiring the ultrasound by proposing an amendment she described as a simple matter of fairness. Her amendment said that before being treated for erectile dysfunction, a man would have to undergo a digital rectal exam and a cardiac stress test.

“We should just have a little gender equity here,” Howell said.

Sadly, her amendment was defeated by a vote of 21-19.

Why am I not surprised?

If you care so much why don't you offer to adopt a baby that would otherwise be aborted?

because I'm sixty years old and already have two adopted children in college.....there's a long waiting list of people who want to adopt.....why should I deprive them of the opportunity to have a child to love and care for.....

This is rape. Forcing something into a woman's vagina that she doesn't agree to, that is rape.
Actually it's rape/sexual assault if it's a penis, otherwise it's sodomy, also a crime.

From my view this law is enormously offensive, more so than the patriot act which at least had some good intentions even if it is totally racist at this point. This is more of the "you have to listen to your childs heartbeat and have your doctor tell you about his agony" sort of right wing religious crap attempts to get around legal abortions. I can think of nothing more traumatizing for a rape victim than having a stranger stick an 8-10 inch "object" in her so she can see her rapists baby and then be told how she's going to murder it.

"I'm from the government, now spread your legs." Litterally

He wanted to get all smug on you and "prove" that you don't really care about kids.

For the record, Tom. I also have an adopted daughter.

excellent point. tom likely needs medical attention after this post.

Forced sodomy is still rape.

Does anybody think this law will stand court scrutiny?

Not legally, they have different definitions and sentences. Societally they are interchangeable but that doesnt make them the same thing.

And no I don't think this law will withstand it, it's highly invasive and derogatory. Feminists will eat this alive.
