you're the one that whines about people not needing 'carbines', but whatever. the only thing I do when politicians start talking about banning more shit is buy more ammo. the real question should be 'why don't YOU care about our rights?' Instead, you play it off saying that there's more important things to worry about. guess what linus, they are ALL important.

Mott, to you there will always be something 'more important'. It's that attitude that leads to rampant abuse of individual rights in the first place.

I'm not speaking specifically about guns, but about civil rights in general. They all fall under the same umbrella and by people thinking that a small chipping away at one won't lead to other being equally reduced is they effectively waive all their rights.

Why would they beat on your door? You wouldn't hear it anyways, being 'too busy' with other 'more important' issues than civil liberties. That's how SOPA, PIPA, ACTA, NDAA and a legion of other laws and bills came into being. Because you're not paying attention.
