No women.
See those little white collars? Three PRIESTS and a Rabbi. Ya wanna bet they are there to give the Churches viewpoint?
No women.
Unless we reform our systems to have universal coverage, like all sane industrialized nations have done, then we wouldn't need group plans at all.Group insurance is one thing that helps keep health insurance cost down. Individual insurance for comparable plans is much more expensive, unless you're young and healthy. The only reason older and sicker people can obtain health insurance is through participation in group plans. Getting rid of them is incredibly stupid.

Dude, what do you think will happen when you get old or sick? You should also check your numbers. The individual rate for those who purchase their own insurance is on average around $3,600/year where as those on a group plan pay around $1,600/year. That is purchasing your own insurance cost nearly 2.5 times as much as a group plan.LOL... no, it most certainly is not. It is typically 2-3 times more expensive to go into a group plan. Group plans ESCALATE costs because they are cookie cutter plans. They force everyone in the plan to have the same things covered. No what is incredibly stupid is pretending that it is cheaper. It is for the very sick and elderly, but that is because THEIR costs are pushed onto everyone else.
How can anyone vote for Republicans who want to prevent you from having access to Birth Control. They want to take away women's righ to control her future.
How can anyone make such a stupid accusation and actually get 45 posts on what is an obvious lie.....??
So, let's cut to the heart of it, do you guys support the Blunt Amendment?
The same way the Republicans got so much out of claiming that Al Gore voted against funding the troops.

If this is what you're talking about, take it up with ABC NEWS if you stupid enough to claim they are lying.....
Our freedom to choose, which of our employees should take it in the ass harder. "I don't believe in STD's So no providing for that, or Cancer, I'm pretty sure the government made that one up, and while we're at it I think the power of laughter is a great healer so that's the only health plan I'm going to cover."For readers who want to examine the text of Blunt's proposed amendment, here are two key sections:
"Nothing in this title (or any amendment made by this title) shall be construed to require an individual or institutional health care provider, or authorize a health plan to require a provider, to provide, participate in, or refer for a specific item or service contrary to the provider's religious beliefs or moral convictions. Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, a health plan shall not be considered to have failed to provide timely or other access to items or services under this title (or any amendment made by this title) or to fulfill any other requirement under this title because it has respected the rights of conscience of such a provider."
Another part of the amendment makes clear that "no exchange or other official or entity acting in a governmental capacity in the course of implementing this title ... shall discriminate against a health plan, plan sponsor, health care provider, or other person because of such plan's, sponsor's, provider's, or person's unwillingness to provide coverage of, participate in, or refer for, specific items or services."
The Blunt Amendment does nothing but PROTECT OUR FREEDOM TO CHOOSE according to our individual moral code

So black guys don't count? That's fucked up, SF.
And, yes, they are there to give the church's viewpoint, but the hearing is about access to contraceptives and birth control and shouldn't be limited to what a bunch of clerics think of the issue.
You can keep your head up your ass and pretend that the optics of the whole aren't horrible if you wish.
I was so unable to comprehend it that I provided the clarification you requested. Fucking DOUCHE.
This is so fabulous. I could get mad and go into (factual) detail about why birth control is a women's health issue and is most certainly not up for religious view
I could also point out that the deeply religious never seem to be bothered by insurance companies covering viagra for single men

I thought this plan was supposed to help people at enormous expense, not just become total chaos that costs a huge amount.
