I know you're a Repub but do try to understand it's "bad form" to visit someone in the hospital and argue with them. Are you capable of grasping that? And as for lies I said he argued about the divorce with his wife while she was in the hospital. Whether he went there to deliver papers or bring flowers the point is she didn't argue with herself.

According to the documents Newt and his wife filed in court, he sought the divorce and she contested it. Follow SF's link. So we know at least one inaccuracy in their version of events. Which is to be expected. They were kids.

according to fact check, the daughters recollection was wrong. Just as the lefts non stop 'he served her papers on her death bed' was proven wrong. Now the left wants us to believe they KNOW that Newt went to the hospital to talk about the divorce. Whatever they can do to make him appear more evilz.
Maybe you ought to quote her about being surprised in the hospital. I've never read that she was surprised in the hospital that Newt wanted a divorce, just that she was surprised that Newt wanted a divorce. It is indeed a strange thing to suggest that she would be surprised about the fact that he wanted a divorce a few months after the papers were filed, but I don't think she said what you claim she said.
I don't know who "the left" is. All I want people to KNOW is that Newt Gingrich sought to discuss the terms of his divorce with his wife while she was in the hospital recovering for surgery related to uterine cancer.

You know what, he left one wife while she had cancer and another after she was diagnosed with MS. There's really no way to spin that, regardless of whether we were in the room and know what he said/she said.
I don't see how any of this even matters or why the right is getting so defensive. I don't think Newt can become the nominee. I have read he doesn't even have the delegates in place. And he's got the entire Republican establishment against him. It's still going to be Romney from what I can gather.
Newt's a slime, women know it, but he's never going to be President so who really cares? You can swing a dead cat in any club on any give night and hit nine more just like him. They often have a white band of skin where their wedding ring usually sits.
I like your use of the passive voice there. That's cute. While arguments may "spontaneously erupt," the topics being argued are raised by one or more of the parties to the argument. Where Gingrich has not disputed his ex-wife's version of events, that he wanted to discuss the terms of the divorce, I don't see how you can claim that I have made an incorrect statement.
Nevertheless, to appease you, I guess we can all now agree that Gingrich discussed the terms of his divorce with his ex-wife while she was in the hospital recovering from uterine surgery and he showed up uninvited.

If you were arguing with her about her action, I wouldn't say that you were at fault. You'd have a right to be pissed, and for your own mental health, you would be wise to express it.
