Chuck Norris only really had a funny quality to him a great deal of time ago because he was a bit hokey. It was a bit of an anti-joke to ascribe all of these qualities to a shitty action star from the 80's. The people who came up with the concept actually tried Vin Diesel at first... no go. Vin Diesel is too serious. However, it was overused. It had long lost any element of humor before Chuck Norris opened his dumb mouth, took his internet fame too seriously, and used it as a platform to spout his political opinions. Now, the humor of Chuck Norris jokes is deep, deep, deep in the negative territories.
