With government medical there is no need for sacrifice. If people were being sacrificed in countries that has government medical they would be clamoring for change but as I mentioned before there is not ONE politician in any of those countries campaigning on reverting to the barbaric " pay or suffer" system. What more proof is necessary?

do you always find it easy to ignore the obvious trap you step in? in todays society, we find people of meager means having to skip meals and medicines in order to have a place to live. how do you think those people will continue to survive if you take more of their money to provide government health care for all?
 
Apple wants others to pay for his health care then has the fucking nerve to call them greedy. What a POS he is.

You're right, he should have just railroaded through a plan but he was a gentleman and tried to work with the Republicans.

As for fixing Medicare the whole idea is to take Medicare and Medicaid and regular health care and put it all in one plan; a government health plan. Whether you're old or poor or get hurt at work or have a car accident or fall off a ladder while hanging your Christmas lights.....if one requires medical care they get medical care. No forms. No insurance companies. No mess. No fuss.

It's called society just like people use the Interstate hyways without paying every time they go for a drive. Just like sending ones child to school.

Post roads are constitutional; Obamacare passed by a 50 plus one majority is not. I'll never get used to the idea that the Constitution can be ignored.

You have a short memory. He tried and tried. Remember Obama saying the old, tired, worn out ideas weren't good enough? Did the Repubs come up any new ideas? No, they did not. All they did was enlist a polar bear killer to talk about crazy things like death panels and doctors revolting and......
