Yeah... It can't possibly be the people we see in the news saying that it is "their fault" trying to turn one group of American earners into monsters. I see it is effective for some people. There is no point in pointing out who is using the divide and conquer technique if you simply refuse to listen to what they say or to actually absorb the information.

Just a hint, the people using divide and conquer are the ones trying to say that a tax bracket defines a person and makes them "evil".
