Two men were charged Monday with setting fires to Los Angeles-area cars, the Fire Department announced.

The fires sometimes spread to neighboring buildings and caused a total of $2 million in damage, the department said.


Samuel Arrington, 22, was charged with arson of an inhabited building and was held in lieu of $75,000 bail..


Alejandro Pineta, 55, was charged with arson of property and held in lieu of $50,000 bail...
