I spent about an hour and a half at Starbucks

You can have money and make 50k-60k, I know many people with money who make about that, they dont get it from there salary.

People here (where I work) generally live off the money they make. Your assumption of Starbucks being only for "the rich" is a bit off. I don't know why you want that so badly. It's also a poor assumption that people who own businesses are "the rich". Many of them work their butts off building what just might make them wealthy later, but currently it is just work for low pay.

It also depends on what you mean by rich. My kids nanny certantly does not go to Starbucks and she makes about $30,000.

I made several observations while enjoying my coffee.

Early at about 7:30 there was a line of rushed well dressed business people getting coffee and running off to work.

That lasted until just a little after 8, then came a parade of people who arrived on motorcycles, bicycles and with dogs. The conversation shifted to the business they owned, the people they have working for them and where they were having lunch. Lots of discussion took place about the leisure activities they were going to undertake this afternoon.

Its my observation that the rich do not work anywhere near as hard as the wealthy.

You haven't observed all the work it took in the past to get where they are so how can you make a determination on what you observed?

That is true, or the work there ancestors did or did not do.

Ah, come on, now you HAVE to post it.

I thought it was somebody else who used to call SF "Supercandy", and I was going to say, hey, wasn't it...blah blah blah.

But that would have been a bad thing to do to, and it could have started a whole big thing and given me my second migraine of the day. It wasn't anything funny, it was just a question. Sorry for the false alarm guys!

LOL.... I am pretty sure Jarod was the one that started that... if not, he is the one that uses it the most. He seems to find it funny....
