Will World War III be between the U.S. and China?

Paraphrasing again (two many drugs as a youth I guess);

China marches west when the last block of the temple is laid.

Putin is a thug. Nothing more. He doesn't possess the leadership ability to bring them back to Super Power status. While they do have natural resources in abundance, their economy is far too dependent upon them. We only have to look to what happened in 1998 when Russia devalued their currency by 80%. They had to. Because we kept oil at artificially low levels and that once again broke their back. All it takes for Russia to fold is a sound energy plan in the US. Luckily for Russia, we have a bunch of inept morons in DC that wouldn't recognize a sound plan if it slapped them in the face.

True. The comments out of N. Korea lead me to believe that China is trying to provoke the North into doing something stupid so that it will divert our attention from their situation with Vietnam.
