8 Facts That Prove the Tea Party Is Ignorant of the U.S. Constitution

anyone who seriously believes that the framers of the constitution intended to allow the federal government authority to mandate that the people buy/sell a product or prohibit the same, is seriously deluded and needs to take their meds.

My behavior is no more perverted than your own. And where is the glorification? My admission that I'm a gay man? Am I sending up "allelujahs" and lighting incense? You and your homophobic riff raff have made it a big deal, when it is inconsequential. Why are you obsessed with my sex life?
I didn't and don't watch Designing Women...I only referenced "Dixie Carter", as an "actress" from the series. What man is named "Dixie"?
Do you sit down when you shit? What's the difference? Standing or sitting defines a man or a woman? Where are you from? The Middle Ages?

Everyone sits down when the shit, but not everyone sits down when they piss, so obviously you sit down when you piss. Did your mother teach you to do that?

The fact you're gay is not "inconsequential" as you say. You said you were gay in your very first post here. The time of day, color of your shirt, the type of shoes, and what you had for lunch that day is "inconsequential". The fact you told us you were gay isn't. That's how you identify yourself so it's hardly "inconsequential". Dumb ass.

Week 6 - Gestational Age (Fetal age 4 weeks)

5 ½ to 6 ½ weeks is usually a very good time to detect either a fetal pole or even a fetal heart beat by vaginal ultrasound. The fetal pole is the first visible sign of a developing embryo. This pole structure actually has some curve to it with the embryo’s head at one end and what looks like a tail at the other end. The fetal pole now allows for crown to rump measurements (CRL) to be taken, so that pregnancy dating can be a bit more accurate. The fetal pole may be seen at a crown-rump length (CRL) of 2-4mm, and the heartbeat may be seen as a regular flutter when the CRL has reached 5mm.

If a vaginal ultrasound is done and no fetal pole or cardiac activity is seen, another ultrasound scan should be done in 3-7 days. Due to the fact that pregnancy dating can be wrong, it would be much too early at this point to make a clear diagnosis on the outcome of the pregnancy.

Let me interrupt you, we don't have to "logically conclude" anything, we have a written documentation of what they meant, it is called the Federalist Papers. In those, Madison states it very clearly what he was talking about when he wrote "general welfare" and every other general statement found in the Constitution. He says it's stupid and foolish to conclude they meant an open-ended clause which would enable Congress to deem anything they pleased as "general welfare" or for the "common good" and that such a mindset was ignorant. He further stated that following the general clause, is an articulation or enumeration of specificity, detailing exactly what was covered. In other words, we don't have to speculate or conjure up meanings, it's stated very clearly and concisely in the document itself. This means, since there is absolutely no mention of insurance, it is not included.

"open-ended clause which would enable Congress to deem anything they pleased as "general welfare" or for the "common good"

Is promoting the saving of 45,000 lives every year just something that pleases Congress? Something inconsequential? The government has no responsibility or interest in saving the lives of 45,000 every year? What type of government do you think the Founding Fathers wanted? The government would be promoting the general welfare and helping to secure the Blessings of Liberty by ignoring the unnecessary death of 45,000 citizens every year?

You're out of your mind, Dix.

Thanks for proving my point. Your own link says 4 weeks gestational age. Perhaps you're confused. It says "week 6", but the age of the fetus is 4 weeks when a heartbeak can be detected.

Again, thanks for proving my point.

I didn't give a link.

Thanks for proving you can't read.

anyone who seriously believes that the framers of the constitution intended to allow the federal government authority to mandate that the people buy/sell a product or prohibit the same, is seriously deluded and needs to take their meds.

Anyone who seriously believes the framers of the constitution intended for the government to not have the power to do everything possible to prevent 45,000 unnecessary deaths is the one who is out of their mind.

It's not about "pleasing congress". It's about the will of the American people, and they tossed out a bunch of people who voted for the nasty bill. You need to wake up to reality.

That's quite an imagination you have there. Let me guess..........you're a lefty. Correct?

And the will of the majority of American citizens don't give a damn if 45,000 people needlessly die every year? What proof do you have the health care act was solely responsible for their voting?

Apparently so, they passed Obamacare. I guess you could argue that it only pleased DEMOCRATS in Congress, since NO REPUBLICAN voted for it... but yeah, the way I see it, when Congress passes legislation, it's because that's what pleased them.

Something inconsequential? The government has no responsibility or interest in saving the lives of 45,000 every year?

Nope, not unless it is specified in Article 1 Section 8.

What type of government do you think the Founding Fathers wanted?

A Representative Republic.

The government would be promoting the general welfare and helping to secure the Blessings of Liberty by ignoring the unnecessary death of 45,000 citizens every year?

Yep, because they would be following Article 1 Section 8.

You're out of your mind, Dix.

Nope... you are!

Also from that link: Week 7 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age 5 weeks)

Generally from 6 ½ -7 weeks is the time when a heartbeat can be detected and viability can be assessed.

It clearly states in the article that a heartbeat can be detected at 4 weeks fetal age.

Week 6 - Gestational Age (Fetal age 4 weeks)

5 ½ to 6 ½ weeks is usually a very good time to detect either a fetal pole or even a fetal heart beat by vaginal ultrasound
.

And talking about waking up to reality every day people become more aware of the lies and deception used by the Repubs.
