His beef was with what he called "bourgeois capitalism" ...which is Chinese for "Wall Street Bankers and The Richest 1% of Americans."

He thought the wealth of these entities should belong to all the people, not just the "Top 1% who weren't paying their fair share."

The masses and hordes of people agreed with him, and instead of camping out in tents, they overthrew the government and made him their leader.

He began implementing his stupidity.... the same mindless stupidity of the wallbaggers!

The results were catastrophic for the Chinese people as a whole, China went from bad to worse, the people NEVER realized the redistribution of capital and wealth. The whole Maoist idea was a complete economic failure, China went from something like 11th as an economic power to virtually non-existent. In 1976, reform began to take place in China, and it has taken them 35 years to reverse the path Mao put them on. They are STILL one of the most cruel and heinous regimes on the planet, subjecting their citizens to barbaric torture and unthinkable human rights atrocities. They are, after all, still Communist.

Every 'complaint' they had was based on the evils of capitalism and capitalists.
