Now you're changing the subject. If you are going to endorse Sharia Law, then you might want to find out exactly what Sharia Law is. Don't tell us it's not being used in the USA when we know it is. That would be a good step.

Yes, it is an all or nothing kind of deal. People are allowed to worship whatever faith they choose. That does not mean they can beat their wives. But it IS an all or nothing deal.

Its also about claiming I advocated men beating their wives when you had absolutely no basis for that. Its also about you taking cheap shots and lying.

But I can see an admission of that isn't going to happen.

FIRST: The Founding Fathers didn't intend for the Constitution to apply to everyone except for those with whom YOU disagree...so your first point goes right into the trash where it belongs.

What I've found so far from your sites, and I will be posting on this, is that the people are asking decisions made in Shari'ah courts to be overturned by American courts, not the opposite.

Let's be very clear about this. Are you saying they beat their wives because the Qur'an permits it? I think it's because they're abusive SOBs with anger problems, and would beat women no matter what.

Just like the Christians and Jews who beat their spouses.

What you THINK is irrelevant......why they beat their wives is irrelevant....why they kill their children in 'honor killing' is irrelevant....why they bury their women up their necks and stone them to death is irrelevant.....etc....

Whats important is that the religion they practice ALLOWS, CONDONES, SUPPORTS their actions.....even instructing them in how to beat their wives....

Tolerating the religion that allows the barbarism is overlooking the barbarism.....
