Numerous times in history, man has thought he could "redistribute wealth" and make things better for the poor, and in every instance, it results in MILLIONS of people being imprisoned or executed (or both) and the poor getting poorer. You're shown where the OWS movement is advocating pure Maoist Communist philosophy, to the letter... and you don't bat an eye, you think that's just great and wonderful, and needs to be the direction we go, because you are too illiterate to comprehend history. The results came about because the injustice was endured for so long. The poor and suffering saw the wealthy just watch and do nothing so when the tables turned there was no compassion.
As for your comments about the wealthy, "what rightfully belongs to them", they used the benefits society offered to obtain their wealth. For example, the roads were already there for them to distribute their products. Roads build by taxpayer's money, other people's money. They benefited more from the highway system than the average person so they should contribute more. In fact, the wealthy benefit more from all of society's progress.
But, in the end, it doesn't matter what you or I think is fair. You talk about my ignorance of history but it's readily apparent it is you who lacks historical knowledge. Once the people get tired of waiting and a revolt occurs it's too late. It won't matter who was right because the wealthy will lose and history shows they won't just lose some. They'll lose everything.

As you acknowledged it has occurred numerous times in history and it will occur again if things do not change.
No one wants to take everything from the wealthy. They just want fairness and I explained this before using income as an example. If the average person makes $50,000/yr and can afford to provide four dinners each evening for their family that means a person making $500,000/yr can provide 40 dinners for the four people and the person earning $5 million a year can provide 100 dinners for each of the four persons in his family. Nobody deserves 100 dinners when others are going hungry.
Take a moment to think about that. Nobody deserves 100 dinners when others are going hungry. The key word here is "when". When the economy is doing well and people are doing well they do not begrudge anyone pulling in the money. When they are able to put dinner on the table for their family they don't care how many dinners anyone else can afford. When they can afford to see a doctor they don't care how many doctors other people can afford. But when they stop being able to afford the basic necessities of life while others are bankrupting banks and investment companies and are getting rewarded millions of dollars as a bonus for doing so the rest of the people take umbrage to that. In fact, history has shown us the people get down right nasty.
So, read up on history and do try to learn. We know what happens and will happen regardless of what you or I think should happen.

That said, a politician may be astute enough to realize that before things get out of hand and make changes. Of course, there is always the chance people will be led to believe lies and vote for the wrong politicians, the ones who support the current injustice and end up paying the price.
It's been shown the spread between the rich and poor is outrageous and growing. Whether it's the tea party complaining about taxes and government or OWS demonstrating against banks and the "money changers" the one thing they have in common is both groups realize they're getting poorer. Should the tea party realize government is trying to deal with the problem and that the problem rests elsewhere, that there is sufficient food and housing and medical care for everyone, the change will be quick.

Again, retard... The natural state of things is, wealthy people get wealthier, and do so at a faster rate than poor people. This is largely due to MOTIVATION and not some advantage they are given over others. Our laws and form of government ensures we all have the same freedoms and rights, no one is left out, no one is getting special treatment, we all have the same exact opportunity to become wealthy. The difference is our drive and motivation to do so. It's RETARDED to think something is WRONG because wealthy people are becoming more wealthy, while poor people are not. Just plain RETARDED!

Ideally, everyone would have the determination, drive, ambition and motivation, to use our free enterprise capitalist system, to become as wealthy as they want to. What you want to do, is shut down the free enterprise capitalist system, and have the government redistribute the wealth, which history shows is a nightmare every time it has ever been tried. Millions of people die, the poor people become even worse off, and the "rich" are simply replaced with another set of people who are even more corrupt than the ones replaced.
