Catholic Church protects pedophile priests but...

The Church is encouraging deviance by Preaching that people do something less than 5% of people do.

I don't know about what percentage of the population does it, but my household gives 15% of our income to either our church or to charities we feel need it. There have been times when our church got very little because we felt the need was greater in other places.

The Catholic Church doesn't require a tithe. That went out when government took over the services that the church used to. Now the government is taking close to 50%, thanks to you liberals, and at the threat of incarceration.

Oh, so scriptural decrees can be changed , at will, by the Church...but emphasis can be unduly placed on the Levitical Code concerning homosexuality, yet, how many gay sex scandals lawsuits has the church had to settle? The hypocrisy stinks to high heaven.

The church has to work within the confines of contemporary society. When the government takes over services that it used to do it doesn't make sense to keep charging for them.

The wife and I were....married at 35 and 33. Yes, it was a concious and religious choice on our part. Now to answer your question: A very small percentage would be my guess.

You, of course, as usual, make no sense. If the church worked within the confines of contemporary society, they would have changed their stance on abortion and gay rights.
