You're right, Paterno wasn't his boss. My mistake. In any event, Paterno knew damn well what was going on and if you think that Paterno couldn't do anything about it other than report it to the AD, you need to have your head examined. Paterno was probably the most powerful man in Happy Valley. McQueary was a pissant bottom rung assistant.

I don't know who the fuck you're talking about, but it sure as shit ain't me. And I'm guessing that those that were condemning all Christians were merely playing a game of sauce for the goose. After all, what's your view of Muslims in general?

MrQueary was asshole like you. He was the one that saw a child being abused and walked away and let it continue......without so much as a "STOP that".....
and didn't report WHAT HE PERSONALLY WITNESSED to the cops....instead he called his daddy and talked to Paterno the next day.....

I don't disagree that McQueary was a coward. I just don't see how that gets Paterno off the hook.

Would you take a chance on destroying a mans reputation by gooing to the cops on the word of another person that won't do what he himself should do.....???

If Paterno knew more than hes saying then I would agree with you....

Joe ain't off the hook. He should have followed through and ask questions about what was being done about the allegation...
If there was an on going investigation, etc.....
No, he ain't off the hook by a long shot.

In my view, Paterno undoubtedly knew what was going on with Sandusky. The guy was Paterno's heir apparent and just up and retired at the age of 55 while Paterno was 72 and it just so happened that a year prior the campus police investigated a claim that Sandusky showered with a minor, which Sandusky admitted to. Now, you can pretend that Paterno was oblivious and had no idea about the investigation but I don't buy for a second. Then the McQueary incident and Joe just reports it to the AD? Not the cops? That's insane, even if Paterno didn't know anything about the earlier investigation.

Actually I'm watching this History Channel special on Vietnam which is pretty intense. I switched channels at a commercial and watched the press conference for a couple of minutes. What I saw was two or three reporters asking questions at the same time and not stopping for each other to speak.
