Fiend attacks 'Occupy' protester in her tent

Wall Street protesters in Zuccotti Park battened down the hatches yesterday as the early October snow turned their tents into igloos, but the close quarters also made easy pickings for one predator.

A sex fiend barged into a woman’s tent and sexually assaulted her at around 6 a.m., said protesters, who chased him from the park.

“Pervert! Pervert! Get the f--k out!” said vigilante Occupiers, who never bothered to call the cops.

“They were shining flashlights in his face and yelling at him to leave,” said a woman who called herself Leslie, but refused to give her real name.

She said that weeks earlier another woman was raped.

“We don’t tell anyone,” she said. “We handle it internally. I said too much already.”

These people are fucking idiots. Imagine if this shit had happened at TEA Party rallies! The vitriol that was aimed at TEA Party protestors, was such obvious political slandering by the media, and even by leftists on this board- and nothing proves that better then the media corruption exposed in how they are reporting, in the most favorable light possible, despite the violence and destructive behavior, by OWS protestors around the country- and by the excuses being given for it by liberals on this forum. Time to bring out the water cannons and send these people packing.

But...but what about self-reliance? A group not only forming a "community" but self-policing. One would think the less government, tea party, Republican folks would be impressed.

How did they help this woman, by just chasing off the rapist, and how does chasing him off, instead of capturing him or reporting him to the Police, help any future victims?

We're talking self-reliance here. Isn't it the tea baggers who are against the stimulus money given to states/communities to ensure adequate pay for Police and other essential services? You can't have it both ways.

How does chasing off the homeless and others who were potential thieves help anyone? If they asked for Police surveillance the response would have been they shouldn't be there and should go home.

Why should the tax-payers pay for Police protection for a bunch of protesters? That would have been the response, or worse. It could have been used as a reason to break up the demonstration.

Wouldn't self-reliance have something to do with capturing the rapist and turning him over to the Police; or are you stupidly saying that the rape victim should only rely on her own abilities to deal with this?
