Really? Then why am I, seemingly only having problems with Tom? If it quacks, waddles and has webbed feet, it's not a chicken.

I tried to make my lame Uncle Tom joke with him but it just went straight over his head. He says he is 59 so he needs to lighten up and not take offence at anything and everything else he'll end up with a coronary.

If your problems seem to be that he spells words like a brit, you should rethink that it is a problem. That you have problems with both lefties and righties isn't so much their "conservatism" as your personality.

Tom is a leftist Brit who spelled the word according to his dictionary. Even if you have problems with him, your pedantic correction was ill informed. The proper response would be, "Oh, I didn't realize he was a Brit", not "He must be conservative because he spelled defense with a "c"!"

Where is the evidence that he is "leftist", and as you should know, conservatism in Britain is completely different from conservatism here...and likewise, "leftist". Baby boom (that's a gay idiom), don't worry your redcoat head about "moi"! And you are truly "lame" for making jokes about subjects so sensitive and explosive. And don't joke with me...I find it being way too familiar for comfort.

Simpleton. Not just any views. Views contrary with the best interests of the black community, as a whole. Many black people don't share my views, and wouldn't be labeled "an oreo" or "an Uncle Tom". However, I have been known to be impossible. A rose by any other name....

It was reported that he told her to stay on the ground and then continued to beat her regardless. There is absolutely no doubt that they instigated the incident as they were drunk and belligerent but it is hard to see how you can justify his total over reaction to the situation. I don't know if he is out on parole for the murder of a fellow pupil and wounding of an eight year girl when he was nineteen, but I can't see the courts giving him the benefit of the doubt.

It was reported by who?? .......someone who was telling him to stop??

Could it possibly be that the bias of the person, doing the reporting, has something to do with their conclusions??
