See, here's the thing... the time to bitch and moan about the guy who was president last decade is over. It does nothing to create jobs and bring America back to prosperity, and I just don't think people are willing to remain broke and mired in bitterness over the past.... but please, you feel free to run with that one!

The Jobs bill was killed by Democrats who control the Senate, dumbass! Republicans literally tried to force the vote several times, and were stonewalled, because this has been a FAILURE from the start, on BOTH sides! NO ONE WANTED THIS JOBS BILL --- DUMBASS!

It didn't create jobs at all... we LOST another 4 million! We told you before it passed, it wouldn't create enough new jobs and it didn't. We still LOST millions! And we're STILL losing jobs! The only jobs created, were in the political talking points from this lying bunch in power... NO JOBS have been realized.... MILLIONS have been LOST!

You can keep harping on the stupidity of 'da guy uz voted fer twice' blah blah blah.... or you can wake up to reality. This mess started before Bush ever took office. It was created because Clinton (and almost everyone in Congress in both parties) repealed Glass Steagall. Why? Because they are all in the pockets of Wall Street.

That "started it," but we had 8 years of an admin that didn't think deficit spending mattered, started 2 expensive wars, signed every crazy spending bill they saw & ignored warning signs on the horizon.

The Bush admin was THE most fiscally irresponsible admin in decades, and they were proud of it. You can't say that didn't contribute mightily to where we are now.

Sad that Bush didn't veto spending bills after the pinhead democrats took control of the ENTIRE CONGRESS.....I agree....and now Republicans get the blame...

Sad too, that Democrats like Frank and Dodd ignored the warnings Bush shoved in their collective faces ....... These two are most responsible for the banking industry collapse and Freddie and Fannie going under, and dragging other corporations with them....

We have had 50 years of admins that thought deficits didn't matter. No question Bush was horrid fiscally, but the constant 'Bush did it' is nothing short of absurd. Tell me... how did spending go when the Dems had control of Congress in 2007 and 2008? Yeah... enough said.

It is a drop in the bucket compared to the ramifications of the repeal of Glass Steagall. it is not even close. The two parties are beholden to Wall Street. They proved that again with Dodd/Frank.

And just as everyone suspected, once the clueless Righties were voted out of office and had lost all the power the people gave them, ONLY THEN did they "suddenly embrace" fiscal responsibility.

There must be some DEM leftwing nut website issuing this nonsensical talking point. The only people with a problem establishing a baseline are the idiotic lemmings who believe whatever leftwingnut site is spouting this bullshit.

If you want to measure the 'success' of the stimulus... you look at what transpired since it took place. If you are going to look at what has happened under each President, you look at the time since they were in office. Saying 'it could have been worse' is a meaningless comment.... because it also 'could have been better'.
