Christie endorses Romney...

Its like that old show Hannity and Colmbs. They want a liberal, they just want an enept one who helps them reassure themselves they are correct. Hannity finally gave that up and did away with the liberal. Thats why those type of shows dont work on the Left, we dont have any interest in political masterbation.

So you are the boards Colmes?

Do explain the nuance Jarod. One you asked who Christie would endorse and then answered your own question with Romney. This one you stated Christie endorses Romney.

how the hell is that not the same topic you dolt?

Uh, the first was a prediction the second breaking news, duh?

Why don't you guys l lay off of Jarod, and Cawacko when did you and SF become like the duo around here? You spend so much time thanking each others posts. Did you two fall in love while I was gone?

lol, did you notice that Rana "thanked" you for this and three other posts on this thread?.....

So basically; when you're gone, posters are able to work out their differences.

Maybe you should stay away longer. :)

Christie's endorsement is certainly going to help Romney more than Jimmy Carter's endorsement, but I have to take exception with the statement that Christie is a "Tea Party Darling." While he did have considerable support among the more libertarian leaning conservatives in the Tea Party, he was far from a Tea Party Darling, and has often publicly distanced himself from the movement. Many of his budget-cutting policies and 'take no prisoners' attitude, is appealing to the Tea Party, but his positions on other issues, particularly social issues, is questionable at best. I didn't bury my head in my pillow and cry when he said he wasn't running, and I don't honestly know of many on the right who did.

The point is that after today it is MUCH more likely that no matter if a Democrat or Republican win the Presidency, we will have a reasonable and respectable President who cares about America and the Constitution. If Romney wins, that will be two in a row!

I was also wondering when Christie became an icon of the Tea Party. :cof1:

He never was, as far as I know. The power brokers wanted him because they don't like Romney. I know Ann Coulter loved him...

Any of the current candidates would be an improvement over what we have now. President Crybaby (just for Nigel, he wants me to see more disrespect for the President up in here, I always aim to please, I see this one) is all trying to find somebody else to blame now that his own party wouldn't pass his jobs bill in the Senate.

RomnEy leads in Iowa and new Hampshire. It's his to lose

We are still MONTHS away from the FIRST primaries! I think it's a bit premature to say it's his to lose, he is the current front runner, and has some momentum, but things can change rapidly, especially when the votes start rolling in.

four years ago at this time it was Fred Thompson and Rudy Guiliani in the lead.....

Romney should be able to do well in the Northeast and the Mountain West.

Perry is guaranteed Texas while Cain has Georgia and Florida, and then the two will probably split the rest of the South, allowing Romney to score occasional victories.

Bachmann may not even carry her own state, as Romney should do well in the Midwest due to his moderation and Michigan being his home state.

I think Cain is the only one who can beat Romney.
