I guess you need reading comprehension, I said the president is not "the government" and as you so astutely pointed out, the president is one of three branches of government, and not "the government", which is what I said in response to the pinhead who inferred the president was "the government."

The one our Founding Fathers worked diligently to articulate, or the distorted perversion of the Constitution liberals have created over the past 30-40 years. Actually, no he's not. As you pointed out, his branch is one of three EQUAL branches. Nothing in the Constitution grants him authority over the other two branches, therefore, he can't logically or factually be considered "the head" of government.

And what did people do before there were marriage licenses? Call it boyfriend and girlfriend? Even the law recognizes "common law marriages". I was married in a mass ceremony in a local MCRR church, in spite of what the Texas law states. I don't need Texas to tell me what I am, or what I am not. They don't program me. This backwards, beer-drinking, good ol' boy network, cousin-marrying, trailer trash living, shoot first-ask questions later, police brutality, can't buy alcohol on Sunday, wet-dry regional, country ass state?????????????? Fuck them and you. I'm married, got a certificate, witnessed by hundreds. The law will change, eventually. Old dogs soon die.

If this is a nation of laws, why do people do everything in their power to circumvent them? They cheat on their taxes, steal when it's convenient, lie to get through school or to get a job, embezzle, gossip, sexually harass, discriminate, sabotage, engage in domestic violence, commit adultery, abuse children, rape and murder...but we're a nation of laws.

It's amazing how poet exposes what an intolerant bigot he is in almost every post. I see dozens and dozens of generalizations, stereotypes, and misconceptions about his fellow man, and he seems to be completely oblivious to his closed-minded intolerance. Not only is he an intolerant bigot about his fellow Americans, he seems to have a disdain for America in general, but so as to not appear too 'unpatriotic' he jumps back on his moral high horse and lectures us about behavior and morality.
