“Occupy Wall Street” Protesters Share One Common Trait: Almost All Are White

Look at all the excuse's to keep the minorities out of your Occupy Wall Street party. If this was important to them, they would protest no matter what. Instead, they see it for what it is, a bunch of spoiled unemployed liberal WHITE college graduates that spent way too much money for their Liberal Arts degree and are now competing with the minorities for jobs at McDonalds.
 
Stating that blacks are avoiding day of rage protests, because they know, that their presence will bring "police brutality" is pathetic- especially in light of bold black activism, that is alive and well in this country. But according to this poster, when a mostly homogenous liberal protest takes place, it does not mean anything. But when it's conservative protests, it is certain to be due to racism! (psssst I guess them black folks be too sceered to show their faces in crowds and such) Fucking idiotic analysis!

Well, I doubt that "they" all think about it or see it any one way, racist. And you know nothing about the people at the protests. There are black and Latino and other minority posters there. And in fact, many of the whites protesting are not unemployed.

The police have employed brutality and thuggery against the protesters from the start and they have escalated. Anyone who doesn't know that minorities are more likely to be targeted by cops in this country is stupid. Buck up, the protests are spreading and gaining new members every day. They'll be more and more minorities as the days march on. I'm sure that will ease your terrible "Concern" for them.

You're just the most openly racist pos on this board. Note I say openly. Most of the righties agree with you. That's why you never got their poet treatment. They love you. Somebody has to eh?

I apologize if you answered this and I missed it earlier. Do you believe blacks (or minorities) would be treated differently at a Wall St protest in New York vs a Tea Party protest in D.C. (or really any other part of the country)?

I don't know, I have never been to a teaparty. They aren't treated in any "way" by protesters in NY, I am speaking of police brutality. I honestly know plenty of white people, seasoned activists, who have told me they are avoiding the occupy wall street protests. No one wants to get a face full of mace, and the arrests are pretty brutal. I know that I have white privilege with law enforcement, so I can't even imagine how I'd feel if I were black. Just out of curiosity, do you know of any cops macing teaparty protesters? Have you seen that video of what they did to that group of women on Wall St? Know of anything comparable?

I can't say I've followed too many protests so what is happening in New York is all I'm aware of in terms of police brutality.

I get your point, but these protests are happening all over the country. I hope someone does bring a gun to one of them just to watch the fall out. And if they brought these protests to Congressional townhalls? And went armed in the very same states the tea baggers did? Let's just hope we see it. I know what would happen, but I also know no righty will admit it. Just compare arrests from this to the teabaggers shutting down town halls to the point where some congresspeople had to be escorted out by the police! You kinda have to be willfully choosing to ignore the obvious.

To be honest, I haven't seen any of the tea party protesters attempt to block off public streets and bridges etc... you see, they don't try to violate the rights of others as they exercise their own. Unlike the portion of idiots in NY that are doing just that when they try to shut down streets and bridges. Actions like that raise tension levels.

I'm sorry, but that's just not true. First of all, the group of women the cops maced were standing peacefully behind a barricade. And during the teabagging protests, they shut down CONGRESSIONAL town halls with their methods, causing congresspeople to be escorted out by the police, and preventing citizens from interacting with their elected representative.

And those guns...come on, anyone who claims that wasn't open threatening thuggery is being a willfully blind partisan with not even an attempt at a pretense.

Ahh, a typical libtard, hates the truth. But pictures don't lie. Where did all the minorities go to when the photographers showed up, run to KFC or Taco Bell? I think not. The only way you are going to get them down their is unless you pay them. Of course you are going to have whites that are employed at the protests, usually they are liberal college professors, ACLU, and the rest of the liberal goon squads that go to these things.

A lot of them would end up as assisted suicides; seeing as how looking down the barrel of a gun, to see if it's loaded, can be dangerous.

The gun comment is nonsense. Plain and simple. They were not threatening anyone. They were exercising their RIGHTS. Dems just want to pretend 'them rednecks got guns, they're about to go crazy up in here'. It was nonsense. Period.

As for the women being maced... I don't know the details of every arrest or incident. I am relaying what we are seeing outside of NYC. Which is a bunch of idiots blocking streets and bridges, violating other peoples rights. As I stated, these actions RAISE TENSION levels. For the cops, for other citizens. Have some cops gone over board.... I would imagine so. As have these protestors.
