I an not saying that there is anything wrong with the above. My point is that the more ruthless a corporation is the more likely it is to put its more ethical competitor out of business. That is why you need regulation. The marketplace need a strong referee. If I make chips and my competitor makes chips, and there is an ingredent that is healthy and one that is cheap, and you are selling chips to uninformed and uneducated people, does the corporation who uses the cheap ingredent get ahead or the corporation using the healthy ingredient?

And what subject would that be? That corporations are tools? Yes, they are. So is my car. I don't expect it o tell me I shouldn't text and drive because it'd be breaking the law. Tools are used to do a job. What job that is is entirely up to the tool user(s). I rather enjoy the idea that corporate business is not based on emotions, especially when they are so fickle and fleeting. Business and government should be based on logic, reason, knowledge, not whether there is 'soul' involved.

Superfreak doesn't actually know how to start a thread. Little known fact. He sits there dying to talk about something, but has to wait till someone else starts a thread about it. Sometimes no one ever does and that's why he is always so frustrated. It comes out in his posts. I feel really kinda bad for him. I tried to show him, but it didn't take!

Every 501c(3) out there is a corporation, your churches, your non-profits, your Fraternity in college, your law firm, the United Way, the laundromat, the bank that gave you the loan that made it possible to open your business, for you to go to college, your universities...

Corporations are not a tool to "allow" people to operate without a "heart and soul"... This is just emotive nonsense that somebody thought was deep. It makes, quite literally, no sense at all.

Yes, but there is a difference between international corporations and your local home grown small businesses that incorporate. My beef is with the guys that "are too big to fail"
