Oh Obama.... do you EVER think before you speak?

isn't this really just another example of another politician talking trash about, say an opponent or idea, then giving vague or no details about how they would do it differently? perhaps obama is gun shy now because he made all these specific promises during his last campaign and failed many of them, especially the big ones. if he continues to campaign like this, it will help him snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Obama's biggest mistake was deciding not to prosecute the Bush Administration for war crimes and treason.
His next biggest mistake was a stimulus package that was too small and distributed over too long of a timespan.
His third biggest mistake was not withdrawing from Afghanistan sooner.
His fourth biggest mistake was not ensuring a single payer health care plan was introduced.
His fith biggest mistake was not prosecuting wall street criminals hashly and quickly enough.

You refuse to point to the part of Dodd Frank you are referring to and instead tell myself and anyone else reading your response that we should just go read all 2000 pages and try and GUESS what you are referring to?

You misunderstood my meaning. I was simply saying that a "Greek bailout" isn't really a bailout of Greece, but a bailout of Greece's lenders. I wasn't commenting on the likelihood of a bailout.

No, you stated that it would be Germany that would be bailing out Greeks lenders. I stated 'perhaps'.... you responded with 'definitely'. It is not definite that it will be Germany that bails them out. I understood you were referring to the lenders and not Greece itself.

From what I understand, Obama cannot be held responsible for anything that has happened. He inherited everything, and it has been impossible for his policy to have any effect because there were earthquakes, tsunamis, car crashes, traffic jams... The Trillion dollars he had to spend on stimulus not going to rebuild the schools or roads... Bush's fault. The QE1 and QE2 not working in any fashion other than to make your groceries more expensive... Bush's fault and there was a tsunami, plus we just didn't put ourselves into more crippling debt, and that's Bush's fault, and a hurricane, car crash... The fact that he can't put forward a budget even his own party could support when they held super majority in both houses of congress...Bush's fault, Arab Spring....

He can't be held responsible for anything that has happened since he took office. I mean, there was an "Arab Spring" for gawds' sakes!

Like I said, there is plenty of information on the web about what Dodd Frank does. The most accurate from attorneys working in the financial services industry. You don't have to read the bill, the experts have already done it. Just go see what they have to say.

Well, SOMETHING has to be Bush's fault, because according to some of the connie cons on the board & elsewhere, Clinton & Congressional Dems pushed him to invade Iraq, 9/11 was Clinton's fault, the economy crashing was either a) Clinton's fault for Glass Steagull, or b) the fault of Congressional Dems, because it happened on their watch & they control the pursestrings, Roy Nagin was responsible for the failures of Katrina, etc., etc., etc.

I have. You obviously have not. Because none say what you think they do. Dodd Frank does not protect us from yet another collapse of our own banking system. Not in the least.

Good lord.... so you have given me a 200 page review of the 2000 page bill.... you can't just state WHAT portion it is that you think makes your case? I do appreciate you cutting it down to 200 pages from 2000, but still... it is not asking too much for you to actually just say what it is that you believe rather than telling me to go read 200 pages and guess....

So again... what part of Dodd Frank do you feel protects us from another bank bailout?
