Over 95% of Black people voted Democrat

With righty posts like these, I simply cannot imagine why a Black person wouldn't want to vote for conservative Republicans.

I was thinking along the terms of graduation rates rather than counting those that earned their GED's in prison...
anyway.....

...my data on graduation rates was getting a little old.....2003 data.... was 49 % ....

38.5 % according to NYT...for 07/08 so it is an improvement thanks to Bush polices, so I stand corrected with the newer figures....

http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/06/02/graduation-rates-by-state-and-race/

The link you provided shows a rate of 61.5%, so I don't know where the 38% comes from.

Obama’s favorability numbers start to drop among African Americans
By Krissah Thompson, Published: September 21

New cracks have begun to show in President Obama’s support amongst African Americans, who have been his strongest supporters. Five months ago, 83 percent of African Americans held “strongly favorable” views of Obama, but in a new Washington Post-ABC news poll that number has dropped to 58 percent. That drop is similar to slipping support for Obama among all groups.

...
If 25 points in 5 months is a 'start' watch out!

did bravo cite stats about those 25 and older? no. thus your claim about KKK stats was unfounded.

care to admit you're wrong?

You and your pissy word games.

bravo said: "You'd be hard pressed to find 50% of black people that have a high school diploma..."

Exactly how many people are included in that statistic that are under age 25, or over age 25? Did he mean some black people, all black people, a percentage of black people?

My comment about the KKK was sarcasm, not fact, idiot. Although from what I know of KKK dunderheads, they wouldn't put the number as high as 50%.

Care to admit you have no reading comprehension?

That would have made my first post a little more correct.....38.5 % to be exact....(I'm back and forth to another site and not making myself clear on either site, sorry)

ps,,,and my comment about the 50% was suppose to be sarcasm, of course also

so you admit you're wrong that it wasn't from a kkk stat.

that was all you had to say. no need to get pissed and rant and rave about it. next time, a simple i was wrong will do.

and there was no word games. if you're going to claim something, stand by your words instead of crying like a baby when you get called on them.

 If dumb was dirt, you'd cover about an acre.

Girl, didn't you hear? Bill Clinton "overhauled" welfare, during his first term...which delighted the Repubs, and why he was able to do so much.
More white folk are on welfare, these days, than any other group. Black vote Democratic because Democrats at least listen to their concerns...which is miles above the Repubs.
Repubs are anti- universal healthcare , anti jobs, anti raising the minimum wage, anti- education, anti-child care, anti-union, anti-teachers.
Now tell me why a thinking black person would vote Republican?

Last week the Department of Labor confirmed that the African American community continues to be among the hardest hit by the economic recessions, with an estimated 16.2 percent of blacks unemployed in June, compared to 8 percent of whites, and 9.2 percent for the overall population. The figures sparked outrage from many in the black community, who demanded that this president do more.

Black leaders are dismayed at President Obama’s seeming unwillingness to create economic policies that are targeted towards the black community.

I am sure all the homies are sitting at home and not collecting any welfare checks. Now your people are pushing for even more handouts because they are black, proves my point you are all losers that depend on the government to survive.

Bitch, I wouldn't know. Whatever that is , is a small segment of the population. What is more troubling and pertinent to you, is that many of the middle class and workaday whites are out of jobs, and are on welfare. I find it ironic that you are making an issue of black folks, when your own people are suffering just as much. Of course, everything with you is a "pissing contest", and "Look, look, I'm so much better than you".
We've survived slavery, Jim Crow, lynchings, murder, rape, discrimination, slander, incarceration(unjustified), and insult and injury. We'll continue. Even as you become the new minority. Whatever will you do?

Who recanted and apologized. Is that your mantra? Robert Byrd? LOL 50 years ago. And now he's dead. What?

He was still using the "N" word just a few years ago. So your passion against racists only runs as deep as what party the belong to? My, my. You sure are bought off easily, aren't you. Looks like your loyalty is to an individual who votes your way instead of principles and integrity that you claim to have.

Black unemployment is twice what it is for whites. Your President is a failure.

Again, don't presume to know me. Where is the documentation (which you never provide) that he was using the word, as recent as a few years ago. That's a lie.
Party? Find me a present day racist Democrat? I could rattle off Republican, after Republican, after Tea bagger after libertarian.
My loyalty is none of your business. Speculate at your leisure.

Really? Is that the conclusion you drew? LOL.
Black unemployment has been a constant since Jim Crow. And rose under George Bush, exponentially. The Republican Congress is a failure.

Yes, really. It's not the conclusion I draw, it's a fact. Do you even know what's going on in this country? Here is Robert Byrd using the N word just a few years ago. This is the racist you defend.

Here's a newsflash for you, DY. Black unemployment during the bush years was the worst in two decades.

The tight labor market of the late 1990s was very beneficial for African Americans. The black unemployment rate fell from 18% in the 1981-82 recession, to around 13% in the early 1990s, to below 7% in 1999 and 2000, the lowest black unemployment rate on record. But the 2001 recession (and the job-loss recovery since then) has robbed African Americans of much of those gains.

"The last recession has had a severe and disproportionate impact on African Americans and minority communities," according to Marc H. Morial, president of the National Urban League. In its January 2004 report on black unemployment, the Urban League found that the double-digit unemployment rates in the 14 months from late 2002 through 2003 were the worst labor market for African Americans in 20 years.

The 2001 recession was hard on African American workers both in relation to earlier recessions and in relation to white workers. Unemployment for adult black workers rose by 2.9 percentage points in the recession of the early 1980s, but by 3.5 in the 2001 recession. White unemployment, in contrast, rose by only 1.4 percentage points in the early-1980s recession and by 1.7 in the recent downturn. The median income of black families fell 3% from 2001 to 2003, while white families lost just 1.7%. Today, black unemployment has remained above 10% for over three years.
